## Homework
* For Thursday, 5th September :
* exercise 1 of the [Linear algebra](https://hub.bio.ens.psl.eu/index.php/s/2MgoBKjTqMoKSXT/download/exercises_linear_algebra.pdf) sheet + for linear applications, calculate the matrix.
* calculate the characteristic polynomial of the matrix
\begin{equation} M = \begin{pmatrix} 3 & 1 & 1 \\ 1 & 3 & 1 \\ 1 & 1 & 3 \end{pmatrix} \end{equation} ie $\det(M-\lambda I_3)$ and find the eigenvalues.
* For Friday, 6th September :
* exercise 4 of the [Markov chain](https://codimd.math.cnrs.fr/s/k_XMH8NVc) sheet : only question 1 + partition of states
